Marine Engineer - generalist with experience in electrical systems

TASKS, to name a few
General naval architecture and marine engineering
Development and innovation of ship propulsion machinery – traditional, multi-fuel, battery, LNG, etc.
3D-scannings on -site ahead of vessel conversions and retrofits
Preparation of technical specifications and reports
The right candidate will be assisting on the design of electrical systems: electric power supply, ventilation systems, etc.

On the technical side we are looking for a generalist marine engineer with proven experience in ship design and configurations. Should you have experience in electrical systems, this will be a bonus. You thrive with technical design challenges and all tasks related to a vessel’s engine room and systems’ configuration.

When it comes to interpersonal skills, you are detail-oriented and provide timely delivery and accurate technical service to our clients. You work independently and as an effective and positive member of our specialised Machinery team and across the organisation in general. You have excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Danish. Lastly, you enjoy the variations between office work and on-site work all over the world, overseeing installations on the vessels as well as scanning hulls etc. ahead of the design phase.

Marine Engineer (B.Sc./M.Sc or equivalent level of qualification) with proven experience in ship design.
Experience with the following: Machinery and piping, general naval architecture, calculations and configurations, expert user of Microsoft Office.

Full time position. Location: Aarhus or Copenhagen. Start as soon as possible.
