When fashion event Aarhus Walks on Water kicks off Saturday 16 September in Aarhus, the models will be walking on a floating catwalk protruding from Dokk1 and into Aarhus Harbour. The floating catwalk - a customised pontoon bridge - is designed and constructed by OSK-ShipTech. The catwalk is clad in a reflective film to resemble the water surface and let light from the spotlights shimmer and reflect on the cladding, when the event takes place at night. For the audience it will seem as if the models are walking on water.

Two months ahead of schedule, the first Siemens 6MW wind turbine has started supplying the German electricity grid with wind energy from the Veja Mate Offshore Wind Farm. This marks an important milestone ahead of the following installation of another 66 WTGs being loaded out from Danish port Esbjerg to the Veja Mate-site off the German North Sea coast some 95 km off the island of Borkum.
18 November 2016 - First of two launchings for Rederiaktiebolaget Gotland Friday November 18, the first of two ropax vessels for Rederiaktiebolaget Gotland was launched from Guangzhou Shipyard Intl. Co. ltd - China.
The vessels, being among the most powerful and fastest LNG-powered ferries are due for delivery 2017/2018.

OSK-ShipTech A/S is looking for a Naval Architect M.Sc. and CFD specialist with good knowledge of theory and methodologies within hydrodynamics and hull line design. You will be working with high-end CFD tools to predict and optimise the propulsive performance of all types of ships. We are using the commercial code STAR-CCM+ for resistance prediction and self-propulsion evaluations, and the hull shape is optimised by CAESES coupled with CFD.
