At the ShipPax Ferry Shipping Conference 2015 held in Rotterdam 21-23 April, OSK-ShipTech A/S and Fjord Line A/S received the prestigious SHIPPAX AWARD 2014 for the spectacular conversion of m/v OSLOFJORD into a modern day ferry. This conversion and modernisation project has been managed by OSK-ShipTech A/S, who has also supplied the naval architecture. The project was delivered on time and on budget – proving OSK-ShipTech A/S’ excellent project management skills. We have collaborated with Owner Fjord Line, Ship Yard STX and Falkum-Hansen Design from Oslo, who has designed the streamlined interior, resulting in a modern, comfortable passenger ferry with all amenities.
17-04-2015 OSK-ShipTech A/S acquires A/S Jørgen Petersen - Consulting naval architects As of 1 April 2015, we have acquired consulting naval architects A/S Jørgen Petersen who has more than 40 years of experience in ship design and consulting in the marine industry. Adding their expertise within smaller passenger ferries and special vessels, the pooling of know-how of the two companies will further expand our client portfolio to cover the entire span of passenger vessels - large and small. The aim is to reinforce OSK-ShipTech's leading position within the development and implementation of alternative propulsion systems and expand the implementation from smaller to larger vessels as the battery technology matures. 17-04-2015
OSK-ShipTech A/S, has been chosen to head up the tender process and design of three vessels for the Government of Tanzania. The contract involves the construction of two passenger vessels and the rehabilitation of a train ferry.
19/11-2014 OSK-ShipTech A/S takes part in largest ever Danish maritime green innovation project Through the community partnership Blue INNOship, OSK-ShipTech A/S will over the next four years be a part of a large Danish collaborative between the maritime industry, shipping companies, universities, GTS-institutes and national authorities. The partnership will be working on 14 green innovation projects in order to boost growth and create jobs in the maritime industry as well as develop energy efficient solutions and thereby reduce CO2 emissions. 19-11-2014
