Audit complete, and we are complying!
Both our divisions, OSK-ShipTech A/S and OSK-Offshore, have completed the final audits with DNV-GL and are now certified to conform to the Quality Management System DS/EN ISO 9001:2008. An important competitive advantage as were are operating in the high risk business environment of the maritime and offshore sector.
The certificate covers the following scope of our core competences:
Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering consultancy services comprising feasibility studies, design of new builds and conversions, structure strength, ship motions and stability analysis, interior design, sea fastening and transport and site supervision.
As ship sizes continue to increase and mooring operations hence become more complicated and dangerous, safer and more efficient moorings systems are needed to comply. In today’s market there is huge potential in developing safer systems for a field of operation currently defined by ‘creative’ on-the-spot-solutions with high injury rates among ships’ crews to follow.
