F/V Brendelen / F/V Fr. McKee

The trawlers were designed and built by Karstensen Skibsværft, Denmark and were delivered to Irish owners in July 2004. The vessels are constructed with two continuous decks, long forecastle with roll-damping tank on forecastle deck, partly covered trawl deck aft and superstructure in three tiers aft of midship.

F/V Strømfjord

The 65.3 m trawler was designed by Karstensen Shipyard, Skagen in Denmark for Skagerak Fiskeindustri in Hirtshals, Denmark. The trawler is designed as a combined trawler and purse seiner for pelagic species and was delivered in 1999.

F/V Western Viking

The 48.3 m purse seiner trawler was designed by Karstensen Shipyard, Skagen in Denmark for an Irish owner and is intended to be used for fishing pelagic species such as mackerel, herring etc. The vessel was delivered in 1996.

F/V Qillaq, Lampo, Imerigsok and Aqissiaq (ex Qingaaq)

The four vessels of this type were designed by Ole Steen Knudsen A/S. Three of the vessels, Qillaq, Lampo and Imerigsok, were built by Assens Skibsværft, Denmark in 1988 and 1990, while the fourth vessel, Aqissiaq (ex Qingaaq), was built by Skaarup & Salskov in 1988.

The scope of work delivered by OSK:

  • Basic design, contract specifications, general arrangement, structural and workshop drawings of hull, outfitting design and drawings, accomodation design and drawings, machinery and piping design
  •  General technical assistance on-sit at shipyard, conduction of tests and trials
